Kakamega county politics seem to be gearing up for a showdown between Azimio la umoja OKA and Kenya Kwanza coalitions after Ayub Savula dropped his gubernatorial bud in support of Fernandes Barasa.

Ayub Savula has announce he will be deputising Fernandes Barasa in the race for Kakamega top seat on an ODM ticket.
The Lugari MP made the confirmation on Wednesday daring Kenya Kwanza’s Cleophas Malala in the race.
“Someone tell Malala, hii kitu imeenda. There’s no way Malala and Khalwale can beat Savula and Barasa. The seat of Kakamega governor goes to Azimio la Umoja with baba Raila Odinga as our president,” Savula is quotes saying.
Savula is a former member of the ANC party and decamped to ODM when the party leader Musalia Mudavadi joined forces with William Ruto to form Kenya Kwanza coalition.
