News of the assassination of former Japan prime minister Shinzo Abe has spread like wildfire causing uproar and condemnation around the world.
The former Japanese premier was addressing a crowd during a campaign rally when a gunman waiting in the background fired two shots at him.
Shinzo Abe was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead moments later.
